Thank you so very much for a book which is both timely and relevant.  Timely, because it addresses our present crisis of adolescent and teen promiscuity; relevant, because it compels responsible people to take action.  Proverbs 25:11 reads "A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold In settings of silver.Good Girl and its message is "a word fitly spoken."  I'm looking forward to reading your next book, and I would hope that every pastor, teacher, parent, student, elected official and responsible person would read Good Girl and be challenged to make a difference.

I read this book then I made my 24 year-old daughter read it too.   We're close, but there were things in the book that I know are on her mind, but would be awkward to talk about unless we talked about it terms of the book's characters.  I thought the book was great overall and a great conversation starter for mothers and daughters.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.  It has all the elements of a good movie! The author has touched on all of the parts of a teenager’s life and times and made them into a very real situation.  There are a lot of both of these characters in all of us.  Some of us were “good girls” who strayed from the straight and narrow path but were fortunate enough to get back on the path before anything happened.  Unfortunately Shayna did not.  But also bear in mind that her getting pregnant had nothing to do with her demise.  There are consequences to our actions but normally not that severe.  All in all, the entire book was excellent!  Keep up the good work Madame Authoress!

The book helped my spiritual life a lot.  Temptation was a big part of the book.  Shayna and Kendall were not at homerun, but they were at 3rd base.  It doesn't matter how in love you are, God ordained marriage and if you're not ready to get married then you're not ready to have sex.  One time is all it takes.  One time to give into temptation.  For all those who think there is no way to stop what's happening, just follow God's words because His words is a lamp unto my feet and a life unto my pathway.

This book is the best I've ever read.  It is real life.  The feelings and the problems is talks about...we've all been through it before maybe not in the same situation as the people in the book, but it was real.  I can't stop telling my friends to read it so we can talk about it.

I loved the book!  I couldn't put it down.  Mrs. Marshall was my mother all the way.  I didn't get pregnant in high school or anything, but if I did I would have had to hide it too.  Great book.  I can't wait to see if Kendall falls in love again.  I hope he does.  He's a good man!!

I really enjoyed the book. I was really shocked and disappointed in the ending. I can't wait to read part two. I just want to say " a job well done".

I liked the book and the fact that you point the reader to many resources for help on the web site.  I agree that teen pregnancy is a big issue these days.  I just wonder when young men and women will wake up and realize what they are doing to themselves and the babies that they are bringing into this world.  From what I observe, it creates a vicious cycle.  Good job getting the problem aired through this story.

This book was so real.  I usually only read what I'm required to read for English class (and sometimes I don't read that), but my friend wanted me to read this and it was good.  It was real.  I didn't have to imagine.  It was like watching a movie.  I can't wait for part 2.

What is Kendall's phone number?  I hate that he lost his girl, but no need to let a good man like him go to waste!   Normally I wouldn't try to be with a guy who has a kid, but I can make an exception for him.  He is going to do what he has to do for his child and he just can't help but be a good man for his woman.  Bring on part 2!

I didn't like the ending.  As I think back about things Shayna said, it seems like she expected it, but I was shocked and it made me cry.  I'm ready for part 2.

I want my daughter and her friends to read this book.  It has all the stuff they talk about in private spelled out in a very difficult, but not unique situation.  They will be graduating this year and they need to know how it is.  This book tells it like it is...better than I can tell it.

I thoroughly enjoyed your first novel. I too cannot wait to read Part II.

I enjoyed the book so much.  I liked how/why Shayna kept the baby hidden from her parents so long.  I also liked how Kendall was a stand up guy and was ready to take care of his responsibilities like a good man is supposed to do.  I just can't wait to read the next part.

I cried when I got to the end.  I can't believe what happened, but I really enjoyed it.  I can't wait for the sequel.

Your book "Good Girl" was very well written.  The only thing that I didn't like was the profanity.  I think that it would make a teenager think twice about having a sexual relationship and unprotected sex.  Even though the book had a sad ending, it was refreshing to know that there are good people that will take accountability for their actions.  You have a special talent for writing, so keep up the good work.

I thought the book was very interesting.  When people are writing about teens daily life it helps a lot.  I was reading the book and as I kept reading I got more and more interested.  I love reading books about teens and their life!  Just by reading the book, I learned something.  I think it would help a lot of teen girls if more authors wrote about things like this.

I thought  this was a very good book.  I was shocked when I got to the end and couldn't wait for the "rest of the story..."  Fortunately since I am close to the author, she let me read the sequel.  It is called Single Dad 19.  It is good too, maybe better...it will keep you rolling, and sometimes make you want to cry, but best of all it gives closure to the whole set of events..
